Alia Bhatt is currently living the life of her dreams! From raising a beautiful daughter with the love of her life to making her Hollywood debut, the actress is on cloud nine. Alia recently attended the global fan festival Tudum, which is hosted in Brazil to represent Netflix’s original films and television series. She visited on behalf of her film Heart Of Stone, in which she co-stars alongside Gal Gadot! While attending such a prominent event is an accomplishment in itself, the internet found a reason to mock her.
At the event, Alia had to give an interview on the red carpet. It was a short, fun, and lighthearted interview in which she described the film as a “glode trotting adventure” and called herself an “elf” as she was wearing a green dress. The fun conversation did not sit well with the internet as they found it to be “annoying” and “pretentious.”

A Redditor posted the interview clip and started an entire thread with people’s opinions on it. One user wrote, “In an effort to stay neutral, cool, and mysterious, she gave us nothing,” and another wrote, “She should take lessons from Priyanka on how to be smart and witty in interviews. The woman kills it.” Many even called her “annoying”, “cringe”, and “awkward.”
One user even claimed that Karan Johar must have trained her for the interview. They wrote, “Karan’s audio note to Alia: The president’s name is Joe Biden and 3 words to describe the film are globe-trotting adventure. Toodles!” While most of the netizens found the interview to be baseless and awkward, a part of the internet also came in support of the actress and blamed the interviewer for asking silly questions.
Representing India at such a big event is not everyone’s cup of tea and we’re proud of Alia Bhatt for handling everything with so much grace and dignity. Even after becoming a mother, the actress has left no stone unturned in her career. She may play a villain in Heart Of Stone, but she is definitely a hero IRL! It’s time we give her some kudos.
