Our Sunday morning got a whole lot brighter with a khush khabri and we are over the moon! Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are now proud parents to a baby girl and we couldn’t be happier. A little birdie told us that the actress was admitted to H.N Reliance hospital early in the morning at 7:30 AM and gave birth to her little bundle of joy soon after.
Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram and announced the arrival of their little girl with the cutest post! She wrote, “And in the best news of our lives – Our baby is here… and what a magical girl she is! We are officially bursting with love! Blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!! Love Love Love, Alia & Ranbir.” Check out the post here:
TBH, we’ve been waiting for this day since Alia announced her pregnancy in June, and it’s finally here. Beware, B-town, there’s a new star kid on the rise!
From giving blockbuster performances to getting married and having a baby, 2022 has definitely been Alia Bhatt’s year! Throughout her pregnancy, the Brahmastra actress has been super active and has defied major stereotypes. She worked until her last trimester and even launched her own maternity wear line.
In an interview, the new mommy even opened up about working during pregnancy and said, “Agar aap fit ho, healthy ho, fine ho toh koi rest lene ki zarurat hai hi nahi. Kaam karna mujhe sukoon deta hai, mera passion hai. (If you’re fit and healthy, you don’t need to rest during pregnancy. Work gives me peace, it is my passion).”
The Dear Zindagi actress added, “It keeps my heart, my soul everything alive and charged. Toh main toh matlab 100 saal ki umar tak kaam karungi. (I will work till I am 100 years old).” Alia had previously also expressed her displeasure towards media outlets that assumed she would stop shooting and rest. She posted a story in which she stated, “I don’t need to REST at all, but it’s good to know you all have doctor’s certification as well.”
Alia, you’re definitely an inspiration to all women. We’re sending all our love to the new parents and the little princess and we cannot wait to catch a glimpse of baby Bhatt-Kapoor!
