It is Alia Bhatt’s world and we are just living in it!
Alia Bhatt had a lot to celebrate the last year. Her stellar performances in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Darlings won her praises and she even got married to her childhood crush, Ranbir Kapoor. Later, the couple welcomed their first child, Raha into the world. Apart from that, she also started her kids’ wear brand, Ed-a-Mama. And now, the new mamma has added another feather to her cap.
The Brahmāstra actress is all set to make her big debut at the Met Gala this year. Alia will be seen in a custom-made outfit by the renowned Nepalese fashion designer, Prabal Gurung. However, Alia is not the only desi star who will be seen at the gala. Before her, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra made an appearance and we’re convinced they’ll be there this year too.
About Met Gala 2023
This year, the Met Gala is set to take place on 1st May 2023 and will be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. And the theme for Met ‘23 is ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.’ Through this, the gala will be celebrating the legacy of late fashion designer Karl Otto Lagerfeld, who has served as the creative director of Chanel and also worked with Fendi. Karl passed away in Feb 2019 at the age of 85.
This comes ahead of Alia Bhatt’s big Hollywood debut with Netflix’s Heart Of Stone. Alia will be seen in the spy-action thriller movie alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. The film is slated to release on Netflix, on August 11, 2023.
Given Alia Bhatt’s successful fashion stints, I am sure she’s going to slay big!
