It’s Alia Bhatt’s birthday today and the Piscean star never fails to wow me with her beauty looks, especially her makeup. She is the MVP of minimal makeup – even her all-out glamm is not overbearing.
There is a lot to learn from Alia when it comes to her makeup routine and I have some scoop on the exact makeup tips her MUA uses to get her ready for the camera. Here they are.
Her Glowy Makeup Base
My most important question is how Alia’s base makeup look so natural and to that, I found my answer. Alia’s go-to makeup artist Puneet B. Saini revealed in an interview that she applies sheer finish foundations that have skin-enhancing properties rather than matte ones on Alia.
The Chanel Vitalumière Foundation is what is usually used on Alia but I find the Kiro Daily Dewy Serum Foundation to give similar results on a budget.
The Perfect Match
For this ethereal look, celebrity MUA Puneet Saini matched Alia’s eye makeup to her silver saree. Saini used a silver eyeshadow with a holographic finish that includes hints of lilac. It was finished with mascara and no eyeliner whatsoever.
I am a total fan of holographic makeup too and to mimic Alia’s eyeshadow, I’m using the Lime Crime Diamond Dew Liquid Eyeshadow – Aurora on my lids.
Alia’s Nude Lip Combo
While the most popular nude lip combo trend uses a brown lip liner with a pink-tinted lip gloss, it’s the reverse for Alia. She often uses a pink lip liner to define her lip shape and then swipes on a nude lip gloss.

The OG Eye Makeup Hack
Instead of using a kajal or kohl pencil like we usually do to look more awake, Alia’s makeup artist dresses her eyes with eyeshadow instead. She recommends using a nude eyeshadow or a shade darker than your skin tone on your lash lines for an effortless look that will never get messy.

Alia’s Natural Blush
To make Alia’s cheeks pop, her MUA mixes multiple blush shades and then tops it off with highlighter. This is a great hack to customise your glow and gives the most natural and radiant finish.

Soft Smokey Eye Look
