Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha’s sweet messages for each other on social media have been winning the hearts of their fans. The recent pictures from their Egypt trip gave their fans insight into just how compatible these two lovebirds are as travel buddies. Now, a few weeks after returning from their trip, they have moved in together into a new flat and guess what? Richa confirmed that they are perfectly compatible as live-in partners as well!
Talking about their vacation in Egypt, Richa said that it was a fun experience (we could totally tell that from the pictures!) but the journey back home was a little troublesome because of European nations going into lockdown. She also explained that she was long due to move into a new house with Ali, as the lease on her flat had expired earlier this year. However, the lockdowns in India and the novel coronavirus pandemic delayed the process and the couple finally started house-hunting in August.
Luckily, Richa and Ali have found a beautiful and peaceful place to live in and have settled for a neighbourhood that’s full of mostly retired elderly people. The Fukrey actor said in an interview, “Unlike Bandra and Andheri, which are crawling with paparazzi,” her neighbourhood is serene and relaxed–just like they wanted. The actors have not bought the home but are renting it and plan to stay there for the next few years. Richa’s brother is helping them settle in comfortably for now.
Obviously, fans want to know how the new place is treating them and how our Guddu Bhaiya is as a flatmate! Talking about the Mirzapur actor as a flatmate, Richa said in the interview, “He chose the curtains without fuss; luckily, our aesthetics match for the most part.”

Richa and Ali were all set to marry in 2020 but due to the pandemic, the dates were postponed and now, the wedding has been indefinitely delayed. While their original plan of the wedding being a three-city affair stays the same, there’s no confirmation regarding the date. “There’s no use of zeroing in on a date,” said the actress.
