Don’t we all have a friend who’s definitely going to be a bridesmaid at our shaadi? Well, for B-town divas, there isn’t one, but two such friends – the Ranjan sisters!
I have a raging appetite for celeb weddings and I recently realised that sisters Anushka Ranjan and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor are present at most of them! They’re in the bride’s closest circle, are part of the sangeet performances and they’re always serving some major lewks. They really must be a gem of friends and I wish I had someone like the ‘Ranjan Sisters’ in my life too.
Alia’s Best Friends Are Truly The Best!
Anushka and Akansha are Alia’s bachpan ke dost and I pretty much saw them in every wedding photo! Not just during the festivities, the sisters even planned a grand bachelorette for the bride-to-be. Friends ho toh aisi!

Athiya, Anushka & Akansha Are Serial Chillers!
Interestingly, Anushka and Athiya became buddies through Twitter! Soon after, the trio was formed and they could be spotted hanging out and taking vacays together. Anushka and Akansha were part of the few guests invited to Athiya’s intimate wedding. And the sisters gave me some major fashion inspo. I loved the Papa Don’t Preach sequinned saree that Anushka wore. In sharp contrast was Akansha’s pretty pastel pleated saree by Dhruvi Panchal.
When Weekend Plans Involve Bachelorettes!
Founder of Summer Somewhere, Meghna Goyal is an industry A-lister and friends with the Ranjan sisters. I spotted both the sisters living it up at Meghna’s bachelorette party! They even wore pretty floral outfits from the bride’s brand.
The Sisters Were There To Cheer Kiara Too!
Anushka’s baby sister, Akansha Ranjan made her debut with Kiara Advani in Guilty. The three of them have been friends ever since. For Sid-Kiara’s wedding reception, Anushka and Akansha made their presence felt and how. Anushka wore a black embellished gown by Rocky Star and Akansha went with a rose gold shimmery saree by Itrh.
I wonder if the Ranjan sisters were there at the Suryagarh events too!
