Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a star, a wonder, a phenomenon. She made her Cannes Film Festival debut in 2002 and the frenzy has not died ever since. The actress landed in the French Riviera town last evening and has been trending on Twitter all day today. Her pictures, that many claimed to be the first look of Cannes 2022, flooded the internet but it was later clarified to be an old photo shoot. Well, that’s something that Aishwarya and only Aishwarya can do. That said, we have finally scored images of her first fit and let’s just say that It.Is.On.Point.
Make Way For Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
The first thing that Aishwarya did today was reunite with her pal Eva Longoria. Pictures and videos of the two divas are now all over the internet and well, this is just the beginning.
For her opening day at Cannes 2022, the actress turned heads in a Pink PP Maison Valentino pantsuit. The look comprised of an oversized jacket with detached scarf-like details on the lapel and relaxed trousers. She finished it off with chunky pink platforms in the spirit of the brand’s recent custom-hued show.
We love the bright pink hue and how effortlessly Aish carries it off. However, we do think that she could have opted for a better fitted jacket. This one’s a tad too baggy and is dampening the entire ensemble. Other than that, everything looks pretty chic.
Here’s hoping that Aishwarya has something major in store for when she finally walks the red carpet. Stay tuned!
