“The time I spent in the jungles held unalloyed happiness for me, and that happiness I would now gladly share. My happiness, I believe, resulted from the fact that all wildlife is happy in its natural surroundings. In nature there is no sorrow, and no repining. A bird from a flock, or an animal from a herd, is taken by hawk or carnivorous beast and those that are left rejoice that their time had not come today, and have no thought of tomorrow.” – Jim Corbett
If you’re too weighed down by the stress of urban living and think that being in the lap of nature is the answer to all your woes, then Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve is the place for you. This is where you can spot a number of endangered species, enjoy the pleasant weather and be at peace with yourself. You might think that visiting a forest reserve would be a ‘rustic’ experience, but what if we told you that you could also pamper yourself with the utmost luxury available?
Luxurious hotel rooms, sprawling gardens and views of the magnificent forests, these 6 resorts will make Jim Corbett your next vacation destination.
Living the luxe life one comfy bed at a time.

Is it okay to have favourites? Because the Paaltidun Safari Lodge definitely tops my personal list. Oodles of style along with the untarnished essence of Jim Corbett, this ultra-luxe property is as close as it gets to the Corbett Tiger Reserve. The rooms are done in a Kumaoni style, giving you an authentic village feel. The property is even visited by tuskers and wild boars so be extra careful at night.
