No equation in the Bigg Boss 16 house is as perplexing as Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta’s. One moment, they swear they’ll never speak to each other, the next they are seen embracing each other like old lovers. They have a lot of figuring out to do when it comes to their feelings. That said, one thing is quite clear—Shalin and Tina are physically attracted to each other. Sadly, most of their fellow contestants have no understanding of the concept.
In last night’s episode, Bigg Boss finally asked everyone’s opinion on Shalin and Tina’s relationship. This happened after they were seen making snarky comments about how the two actors were hugging each other during MC Stan’s concert. What followed next left us asking “yeh kya doglapan hai?” From attacking Tina’s character to invoking their ‘sharam’ and ‘lihaz‘, the housemates said a lot of problematic things.

Are All Love Stories Linear?
Many of the housemates have questioned Tina and Shalin’s relationship due to their “kabhi haan kabhi na” equation. There are times when the two can’t stand each other, and then there come moments when they can’t keep their hands off each other. But not all love stories pan out in a similar manner, right? People are allowed to explore a relationship without putting a tag on it. Tina and Shalin deserve the benefit of the doubt here since they literally met in the BB house and are still figuring out a lot of things.
Mandli, Are You Afraid About The Attention Shifting From You?
Sajid Khan and his gang are quite bothered by Tina and Shalin’s proximity. While most of them believe they are concocting a screenplay in order to avoid eliminations, we believe the mandli simply does not want the spotlight to shift from them. It would be great if Sajid Khan realises that people tend to fight and have disagreements in real relationships unlike his mandli and their too-good-to-be-true dynamics.

It’s upsetting to see Soundarya Sharma passing judgment on this relationship when she herself has been in the same situation. Has she forgotten all the sweet nothings she whispered in Gautam’s ear? If that was okay, how is this not?
