Everybody is currently talking about Alia Bhatt’s Met Gala debut and rightly so! The actress, after all, won the red carpet in her angelic white gown. However, some fans are a little disappointed. They wanted to see a lot more of the Brahmāstra actress at the 2023 Met Gala. Here’s what’s bothering them about Alia’s quick return to India:
The Curious Case Of Met Gala After Parties
For the unversed, multiple after-parties happen after the Met Gala. While some of them are organised by big fashion brands, others are hosted by Hollywood celebs. For instance, Priyanka Chopra attended the Boom Boom Room bash hosted by American singer, Janelle Monáe.
Similarly, we spotted a lot of 2023 Met Gala attendees at various after-parties. But there was no sign of Alia Bhatt. In fact, she was back in India within 24 hours of her Met Gala debut. Considering that it is at least a 13-15 hour long flight, fans are speculating that Alia gave the after-parties a miss or worse she wasn’t invited to any of them.
Did Alia Bhatt & Priyanka Chopra Not Meet During The Met Gala?
Desi fans were eagerly waiting for a PC-Alia Bhatt picture from the 2023 Met Gala. We were almost sure of it happening considering the actresses are even doing a Zoya Akhtar movie together. Sadly, that didn’t happen. There were no pap photos of them posing together. No goofy selfies were posted by either of them unlike Isha Ambani and Diya Mehta who were spotted with each other at the event. And this is when both PC and Alia hung out and posed with other international stars. Did they not meet at the event? Or did they meet and are waiting to drop the pictures after a while? I can’t stop wondering!
Here’s hoping we get to see a PC meets Alia Bhatt picture from the Met Gala super soon. We deserve it!
