Don’t Waste A Single Drop! This Is What You Should Do With Sheet Mask Leftovers

One of my favourite skincare products is a sheet mask. Blame it on the cutesy packaging or fun choice of ingredients, but whenever I put on a facial sheet mask, my skin always feels dewy, soft and glowy after. However, there is one thing that bothers me about them and this that every time I use one, the leftover serum drips off my face. Even though I’m grateful that skincare brands are generous with the amount serum they fill into each packet, a lot of product does tend to go to waste. I found a few ways to use sheet mask leftovers, and today, I’m going to share them with you.

5 Ways To Use Sheet Mask Leftovers

After all, not a single drop should go to waste!

Apply The Serum To Your Chest & Neck As Well

Sheet masks may be designed for your face, but you can use the leftover serum on your neck and chest as well. Use your palms to massage the product into your skin and do not wash it off with water. Instead, allow the product to air dry and to penetrate deep into your skin.

Collect It In An Empty Cosmetic Container

Whatever sheet mask product that gets left behind in the packet, pour it into an empty cosmetic container. You can reapply the serum after a few hours to reboot that dewy, glow. Apply a thick layer of moisturiser to your face after sealing the serum in.

Make Two Masks Using One Sheet Mask!

If there is too much of sheet mask product left behind, don’t let it go to waste. Just place a dry cloth sheet mask into the product, allow it to soak, and give it to your sister or best friend. That way, the two of you can sheet mask and chill together!

Use It All Over Your Body!

You should keep a sheet mask on for not more than 20 minutes. If the sheet mask is still dripping with serum after 20 minutes, squeeze into a ball and rub it all over your body. Focus on areas where the skin feels the driest like your elbows, knees and inner thighs.

Use It As A Spot Treatment

If you have leftover sheet mask product, dip a cotton pad into the product, leave it to soak for 5 minutes and then place it on the blemish. Keep it on for 15 minutes. If you do this often, the blemish will start to heal and eventually fade away.

Sheet masks fall expensive if you use one every single day. These helpful tips will help you to save you some money and get the most out of your product.
