After the ragging weekend most Monday’s are synonymous with Monday morning blues but for us, Monday’s are spent catching up with the best outfits that the Bollywood celebs wore over the weekend. From the celebration at Cannes to enjoying their weekend as much as we did these celebs had a lot up their sleeves this weekend.
The weekend was all about glitz and glam with the 71st year of Cannes Film Festival in full swing. B-town’s fashion A-listers were present to attend the same. From Deepika to Kangana, Huma to Aishwarya (and soon Sonam), they all added oomph to the red carpet. From stunning red carpet look to cosy airport style, here’s what the B-town fashion A-listers wore this weekend and they are so worth stealing!
1. Black Beauty

Deepika Padukone’s style at the Cannes red carpet has kept the bar pretty high this time at the Cannes film festival. Her looks varied from a classic take on the white tee and jeans to the beautiful Zuhair Murad naked dress, a violet pantsuit keeping in sync with the Pantone colour of the year to the Ashi Studio ruffle overload in pink. This black number surely keeps up the standards. Although going minimal and simple, the piece is one we would definitely steal. The plunging neckline and statement sleeves this gown by Marcell Von Berlin is a total keeper. All we can say is that her stylist Shaleena Nathani is doing a great job.

Kangana’s style has been avant-garde and we love how she’s grabbed our attention and held it well throughout her time at Cannes. Kangana’s stylist is Lorna McGee who is Switzerland based and we surely love how she’s styled this B-town beauty. From the retro black Sabyasachi saree to her super hot Trussardi pantsuit. This Nedret Taciroglu embellished playsuit, this is a classic piece to have in our wardrobe. Kangana’s is definitely sizzling hot at the Cannes this time.

Following her Instagram debut, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Bollywood’s queen of beauty made her appearance at the Cannes Red Carpet on Saturday 12th in a colourful Manish Arora ensemble. Keeping her make-up and accents minimal, she kept all the focus went to the embellished gown. Sticking to pastels she definitely made heads turn.
4. Going Monotone

After all the blockbuster looks, Deepika bid adieu to the Cannes Film Festival on the 12th, she stepped out in style yet again. Wearing beige from head to toe Deepika gives us some serious lessons on how to wear monotone. Deepika was dressed in Max Mara, a Burberry bag and Marc Jacobs shades. After her blockbuster looks at the Cannes last year, Aishwarya Rai didn’t disappoint with her first look on the red carpet. She looked like a Disney princess in this train-gazing Micheal Cinco gown with beautiful hues of purple and blue. With sleek pulled back hair and a bright lip colour, all the attention was on her stunning gown. Styled by none other than Aastha Sharma, we can’t wait to see what else is in store for us.

This classic all black pantsuit by Gorgio Armani will definitely look poised and stylish at the same time. Throw on a pair of embellished heels and add the oomph with bold red lips.
