#DeepVeerKiShaadi: What Are The Uninvited Bollywood Baraatis Up To?

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are officially married! The two got hitched in Lake Como yesterday and we have no pictures of the happy couple yet. However, we aren’t the only ones who are going about our lives without the DeepVeer wedding invite, there are a few friends of the couple who aren’t at the wedding either! They may have given it a miss, which is what my guess is about Shah Rukh Khan, who is currently chilling with the CEO of Twitter. But there are a few others like Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Anushka Sharma who haven’t received an invite. Instead, they’re busy shooting for different ventures. 

1. Shah Rukh Khan & Jack Dorsey

While Deepika and Ranveer are busy tying the knot, Deepika’s ‘Shah’ (as she fondly called him on Koffee With Karan) is meditating with the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey who is visiting India. Jack was also seen spending time with some students in IIT Delhi, Prime Minister Narender Modi and singer, composer, A.R. Rahman. 

2. Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma is busy shooting for her brand ‘Nush’ while her (rumoured) ex-boyfriend Ranveer Singh is getting married Sindhi-style today. 

3. Karan Johar

Karan Johar might have been heartbroken over the fact that Deepika and Ranveer did not drop him an invite (as he mentioned on Koffee With Karan.) But the actor, director, and talk show host is still busy on the couch and posting pictures of his latest guests, Kajol and Ajay Devgn on Instagram. 

4. Arjun Kapoor

I’m as surprised as you are! Ranveer Singh’s very own ‘Baba’ just posted a picture of himself shooting for India’s Most Wanted. Sigh, I really was looking forward to some videos of the two dancing at the wedding. 

Here’s hoping that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone share some cute couple pictures in their own time, just as Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma did. Till then, I’ll be waiting with the rest of India and laughing at dark memes that are hitting us right in the feels.
