In case you are not, then we have something to instantly get you in a good mood. And what’s that? Before you say that you are not into those utterly cheesy love stories, let us tell you that we are not either! Well, dancing around the trees and proposing to someone after dating them for three days is not something we recommend or find relatable. So, instead of suggesting films that are quite frankly overdramatic, we are here with the names of seven new-age romantic movies that are realistic and interesting.
7 Romantic Movies That Remind Us Of Our Own Love Life
Here’s the list of seven new-age romantic movies that ditched the regular plot of ‘boy-meets-girl’ and gave us stories that our generation could relate to:
Shiddat
The newest entry in the list is Shiddat that released today and is already garnering impressive reviews from the viewers. Well, we have watched it and all we can say is, it is defs worth the praise. Sunny Kaushal plays the role of Jaggi, who falls madly in love with Kartika (Radhika Madan). While he wears his heart on his sleeve, she’s somewhat dubious about the concept of love. Oh and also, she’s about to get married to someone else. But, she will cancel the wedding if Sunny proves that their feeling for each other is a lot more than infatuation. To do that, he will have to climb mountains and swim oceans…literally. Will that be enough?

The movie has not got everything right, but it has some elements that remind us of modern-day romance. It stars Sara Ali Khan as Zoya and Kartik Aaryan as Veer. Their confusing relationship status and struggle to find a balance between work and personal life will remind us of our own love life that can get really messy at times.
