This Couple Planned An Intimate Shaadi On A Yacht & We Can’t Get Over Their Dreamy Pics

We’ve seen some of the most creative and interesting weddings owing to the coronavirus pandemic. The virus sure altered our view about the big fat Indian wedding. In the year 2020, many hosted small, intimate ceremonies in their backyards or postponed their wedding till the pandemic recedes. We saw a couple who tied the knot while being across the border from each other. Then there was a COVID-19-infected bride who got married while sitting beside her bedroom window. From face mask exchange ceremonies to virtual weddings, we’ve seen it all. And it’s safe to say that apart from the pandemic, weddings have been a highlight of this year.

Now, we have another couple trending on the internet for their gorgeous shaadi pictures. And well, they sure take the cake! Why, you ask? ‘Coz look at that dreamy wedding ceremony on a YACHT!

Meet Tanvi Bist and Raghav Ahooja, who didn’t let the pandemic spoil their big day and planned a gorgeous intimate ceremony instead of a big fat desi shaadi. While we are going gaga over their breathtaking ceremony, the bride’s outfit also deserves a special mention! Tanvi wore a beautiful Paulmi & Harsh drape in red and paired it with a white coloured bralette. We’re totally taking notes!

The couple had a small ceremony that lasted for about 30 minutes with their family from India watching over a zoom call. In an Instagram post, Paulmi & Harsh, the wedding outfit designers, revealed that the couple was supposed to have a destination wedding in Mussoorie. “With the Singapore sunset adorning their ceremony, Tanvi and Raghav took their vows to love each other forever in a ceremony comprising of close friends. The ceremony lasted a little over 30 minutes, but the memories will last for eternity,” said the designer in an Instagram post.
