Meet before you appoint. Fix a proper meeting with the photographer before the wedding and tell him about your expectations. Don’t save it for last moment, you anyway don’t have much time on your wedding day. So clear up the concepts beforehand.
2. Know your cute angles

You might know about how unfavourable your left face profile looks, but your photographer simply doesn’t! Tell him, the angles which make you look the best and the one that would accentuate your signature pose on your wedding day. Go through other’s wedding pictures and make a note of all those similar pictures and poses you want. Do your research and always keep your photographer informed about it.
3. Smile, but don’t fake it!

Don’t fake it, at least not on your wedding day. Be candid but don’t go all ‘say cheese’ with it. It is your wedding day, be yourself. Your smile will get you the best of your shots to glare at for the longest time if you are comfortable and happy from within.
4. Be aware of your outfit and accessories

Make sure your lehenga is not crumpled, the dupatta is in place and your accessories are not intertwined with each other. Do it because you shouldn’t regret later thinking, “Shit, I should have adjusted my lehenga or entangled by necklace.” You certainly don’t want your outfit to look shoddy or your dupatta to shift where your tummy tends to pop out, right?
5. Be confident, don’t cower

You’re the bride, it’s your day, so be confident. Your posture and body language make a lot of difference and on your wedding day, you can’t cower either while sitting or standing. Be confident bride because you’re worth it.
6. Go easy with the shine

Don’t go too shimmery with the makeup. Remember, less is more. Too much of gloss on your face with those yellow lights won’t give you the best shots. Worst, it would clash with the flashlight giving you an unfavourable white mask effect on your face. So, go subtle with the makeup and avoid glossy touch-ups.
7. Think about your Insta account – be quirky with the background

Be as quirky as possible and look for the best corners and backdrops that’ll look great on your Instagram feed. Good backgrounds with great subjects weave a story in itself. And that’s not enough, spot the best light available at your wedding venue and make the most of it to flaunt on your Instagram account.
