#VideoOfTheDay: This Beauty YouTuber’s Take On Indian Makeup Vs American Makeup Is SO Interesting!

Everyone in the beauty industry understands that beauty is not just about hair and makeup. As of today, beauty has now become a movement. Makeup is widespread and different cultures do their makeup differently. Highlighting this fact, YouTuber Christen Dominique, who loves the Indian culture for its aplomb and vibrancy, decided to do a take on classic Indian makeup. The twist here though was that she did up one side of her face in Indian inspired makeup and the other side of the face was a soft glam American look. 

India is known globally for its vibrant colours and that is also the look that Christen chose for the video. She went with a more bridal gold and red look on the Indian side and a more muted glam look on the American. This was important to showcase the different cultural disparities as well. What was interesting is that there were a lot of common features between the makeup looks. If we look closely though, the American side makeup is what most of us would gravitate towards on a regular basis. 

So looks like we aren’t as different after all!
