Varun Dhawan’s ‘October’ Trailer Will Leave You Transfixed, Yet Confused!

Ever since the poster released, Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu’s October has had us hypnotized. Their mesmerising trailer seems to be just the beginning of a visually pleasing journey. This Shoojit Sircar story of love couldn’t be any more beautiful. With Varun Dhawan playing a serious role, instead of the fluffy happy-go-lucky roles we are used to seeing him in, the trailer comes as a breath of fresh air. Banita Sandhu’s Bollywood debut, on the other hand, seems to be right on track. 

While the trailer has undoubtedly left us transfixed, the story seems unclear. With Varun Dhawan seeming distressed and Banita in the ICU, and not much of a relationship established between them, none of the strings are tied together by the end of it. We’ll probably be looking out for more sneak-peeks to see what this ‘not a love story’ but ‘story of love’ is all about.
