Bath Mix To Soothe And Hydrate

You’ll need:

Step 1: Mix half a cup of rose petals with a handful of mint and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. The bath helps remove excess oil. If you find lemon irritating, you can substitute the citrusy treat with white vinegar. 

Anti-Inflammatory Face Mask

You’ll need: 

Method: 

Step 1: Mix the sandalwood powder, mashed rose petals, rosewater,  and a tablespoon of honey into a paste.

Step 2: Next, apply this mixture to the face and neck like a mask. Leave the mask on for 15 minutes and rinse with cool water. For additional benefits, replace the honey with turmeric, as it is said to remove dead skin cells, brighten the skin, and reduce discoloration.

DIY Mask For A Lit-From-Within Glow

You’ll need:

Step 1: Mix the rose petals with chickpea flour, yogurt, and rose water to make a thick paste. 

Step 2: Apply to the face. Then, let the mask dry and rinse with milk, followed by cold water.

Soothing Facial Cleanser

You’ll need:

Step 1: Soak 8 to 10 petals in 4 tbsp of filtered water for three hours. 

Step 2: Mash the petals into the water and then add 2 tablespoons of honey. 

Step 3: Mix and apply to the face. Leave on for 20 minutes, and then rinse with cool water. 

Scrub-A-Dub-Dub

You’ll need:

Step 1: Add rose petals and organic oats to your blender and mix the duo until they make a fine, gentle texture. 

Step 2: Next, place the mixture in a bowl, and add water or milk until the mixture is gentle enough for your skin. You want to avoid a texture that is too grainy. 

Step 3: Lastly, gently scrub this mixture onto your face and neck using circular motions and rinse. 

To Nourish Dry Skin

Step 1: Mix a few drops of rose water with any of the three oils listed above. 

Step 2: Massage onto the face in the morning and before bedtime to heal and nourish dry skin while this also works wonders on a scar or burn.

A Revitalising Hair Rinse

Step 1: Take 1 cup of rose water and add it to a jar.

Step 2: Add a few drops of jojoba oil and 1 capsule of Vitamin E to the mix.

Step 3: Mix ingredients together and apply to wet hair and scalp. Massage for at least 10 minutes and follow it with a shampoo.

This DIY is a great de-frizzer and those with curly or thick hair can rely on it to add shine and reduce fuzzy bits.
