Yesterday, India celebrated a lot of things–our 73rd Independence Day, Rakshabandhan, some quality family time, which according to some users on Twitter, wasn’t ‘quality’ enough for those who went to watch Akshay Kumar’s film, Mission Mangal.
The star-studded film featuring actors Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi in pivotal roles has received as mixed reviews as the mixed fruit juice. There’s no telling if there’s sweet mango in it or sour orange.
Mission Mangal is a drama film based on the real-life story of the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) Mars Orbiter Mission. While the film’s trailer promised a feel-good movie experience for the whole family, there are a few who beg to differ after watching the film.
In an attempt to find good reviews of the movie (because I have already booked the tickets *eye roll*), here are all the tweets that I came across on Twitter. Warning: these are not helping me feel good/bad about my early-bird decision either.
