This TV Actress Called Off Her Marriage 2 Months Before The Big Day

It is often said that more than the wedding, it is the planning that truly challenges a couple. This journey is full of ups and downs and sometimes it doesn’t end well. Something similar happened with telly star Shafaq Naaz who called off her wedding just two months before the big day. 

Shafaq was all set to tie the know with Muscat-based businessman, Zeeshan, in May 2023. The two were in courtship for three and half years and everyone was beyond excited for their shaadi. Unfortunately, the two called off their wedding in March 2023 and Shafaq kept mum on the subject for the longest time.

Recently, Shafaq opened up on her reason behind the decision in an interview with a leading daily. The Chidya Ghar actress shared, “Marriage involves not just two individuals, but also their families. When two families get together, differences can arise.t just two individuals, but also their families. When two families get together, differences can arise. Har family mein shaadi ke time par problems hoti hain aur thoda disagreement rehta hai, especially in the case of love marriages (Every family goes through problems at the time of marriage, especially in case of love marriages). Sadly, our families, too, had some misunderstandings, but I don’t want to blame anyone.“

Shafaq added that she is still dating Zeeshan but the two have decided to put their shaadi plans on hold. Only time will tell how things will work out for the two.

It is often said that everything happens for a reason. So just because the time wasn’t right for Shafaq and Zeeshan in May, doesn’t mean it will never happen. Hoping for all good things for the couple!
