This TV Actor Had A Lot To Say About Huma Qureshi’s Braless Outfit

What a woman should wear and when? This seems like a question that a woman should decide for herself, right? But even in 2023, people think they have the right to comment on what’s appropriate and what’s not. Recently, Huma Qureshi wore a printed dress featuring a plunging neckline at Dahaad’s screening. It was every bit stunning with just a touch of risqué factor. But telly actor Pankit Thakker had an issue with it.

It’s surprising to me how people continue to make unnecessary comments about an actress’ outfit. Before we get to what Pankit had to say about Huma, here’s what she wore:

I, for one, think Huma owned the looked. Her decision to skip the bra worked wonders for the look.

However, Dill Mill Gaye actor Pankit had his two cents to give. In a media interaction, he said, “Recently, two actresses caught my attention at a public event – Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha. While both the actresses looked stunning in their own styles, it was Huma Qureshi’s braless look that I found not in good taste, especially in a conservative society like India.”

He added that Huma Qureshi’s look showed an “excessive display of skin”. “It was indecent and inappropriate attire for a public event,” said Pankit.

IMO, Pankit needs to refrain from speaking on matters that hardly concern him. Whatever an actress or any woman chooses to wear is her decision. The weight of Indian society’s decency doesn’t lie in a woman’s outfit. 

I hope Pankit spends some time learning about women’s rights ‘coz he is giving sexist energy. Remember it is better to keep quiet if you don’t have anything nice to say.
