Getting stains on your clothes has to be on the list of the top 5 terrible things that happen! Imagine your crisp, white shirt getting ruined by a patch of clumsiness. Ick! Well, not anymore! We have compiled 6 top tricks that will show you how to get rid of the trickiest stains from your fav wardrobe pieces!
Grease And Grime
Dip a toothbrush in dish wash liquid and use it to scrub the stained areas of the garment. The liquid breaks up the grease and will make it easier to come off when you rinse the garment! Be sure to wash them at the temperature advised on the garment label.
Red Red Wine
Stretch the fabric over a bowl and pour cold water over the stained area. Then generously sprinkle salt over the stain, completely covering it, and wait for the salt to turn pink. Once the salt turns pink, pour boiling water over the stain and watch it disappear!

Have A Think About Ink
Soak the stain in a bowl of milk for around 20 minutes. Now take an old toothbrush and rub it over the stain for a few seconds until you see that the stain has vanished.

Where The Grass Is Greener
It’s good to treat grass stains as soon as you can. Starting from the reverse side of the garment and apply white vinegar to dab the stain. If it persists, use a solution made with warm water and bicarbonate soda and brush it with an old tooth brush. You can also use rubbing alcohol or meat tenderizer! Watch the video to find out more…!
Bloody Hell!
If the blood is still fresh (and wet), start by lightly dabbing the stain with soap and warm water (do not use hot water as this may cause the blood to set). Run cold water through the back of the fabric (this should remove most of the stain). If the blood has already dried, opt for a mix of detergent, hydrogen peroxide and water and then dab the stain. You can also use a mix made up of 50:50 ammonia to water. Avoid using this solution on silk, linen or wool.
