Deepika always has her fashion game on point, and when it comes to Hollywood, no one has been able to come close to Queen Bey! But we have spotted a striking similarity between Deepika Padukone‘s and Beyoncé’s outfits. It seems like DP does take inspiration from the best after all, and damn, does she do an equally great job nailing every look. And guess what? Sometimes it’s also the other way around!

The Pink Peacocks
At the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, Deepika Padukone painted the French Riviera pink in a ruffle dress from Ashi Studios. Her look was so widely loved that even the iconic Beyoncé couldn’t resist recreating it. The singer wore the same outfit the same year at the Global Citizen Festival. While DP wore it with matching pink heels, Beyonce went with silver ones!
Queens In Red
Don’t we love it when Hollywood chooses Indian designers? For a photoshoot, Beyoncé wore a stunning red dress made by Ashish Gupta. The dress came adorned with sequins and tassels, and Bey layered it with a matching fur coat. Deepika was also seen wearing the same dress around the same time, and we can’t decide who wore it better.
The Ivy Gals
One icon’s photoshoot outfit is another’s airport look! Beyoncé posed for a photo shoot in a lilac Ivy Park x Adidas co-ord ensemble that included a cropped blazer and matching trousers. Shortly after, DP was spotted at the airport wearing the same outfit. Deepika wore a white cami underneath her blazer, while Beyonce wore nothing.
Daunting In Denim
Deepika set massive fashion trends with her promotional looks for Gehraiyaan. One look that was a mass favourite was her Ivy Park Rodeo denim corset bodysuit that she wore with low-waisted denim joggers. The look went viral in no time, and even Beyoncé was seen donning the same bodysuit! For added drama, the singer wore it with unusual cut-out denims and an over-the-top belt.
All The Glitters
In 2011, a preggers Beyoncé stormed the red carpet at an awards ceremony in a glittering crimson gown by Peter Dundas. Deepika was also seen wearing a similar gold gown made by Naeem Khan the same year. Although the colours and designers of the outfits were different, the plunging necklines, lustre, and silhouettes of both were far too similar to be overlooked.
We love how, despite wearing so many similar outfits, Deepika Padukone and Beyoncé manage to give their unique edge and twist to each look. After all, the beauty of fashion is its originality, right?
