Akhiyan Tu Chura Na Raja: Ajay Devgn Reveals How Kajol Reacts When He Looks At Other Women

Ajay Devgn and Kajol are the golden couple of Bollywood. They have been going strong for two decades and their fans not only love them for their chemistry onscreen but also adore their husband-wide banter. The couple recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary and looked as much in love as they were two decades ago. However, on the flip side, Ajay admitted that in the past, he has felt attracted to other women, too.

“I must have felt attracted (to other women). It’s just normal to feel,” Ajay admitted in an interview with a leading daily. “You can’t turn around and say I never felt that way.” In his upcoming movie, De De Pyaar De, Ajay plays the role of a middle-aged man who is dating a girl half his age. Things get complicated when his ex-wife enters the picture. However, Ajay revealed that he has ‘never had that kind of a relationship (with his wife) as shown in the film’.

Whenever Kajol would catch Ajay looking at a woman other than her, she would laugh it off and sometimes even take a sarcastic jibe at him. “She would pass a comment, which would be a joke,” he revealed. He also shared that Kajol had watched the trailer of De De Pyaar De and she is okay with the subject of the movie. “She knows this is a movie and she is from the industry and is much aware of how it functions,” said the Gangajal actor. The film, helmed by Akiv Ali, has been the talk of the town ever since its trailer was released. It also got caught up in controversy when Tanushree Dutta slammed Ajay Devgn for working with Alok Nath, an actor who has been accused of sexual harassment by several women in the film industry. Alok plays the role of Ajay’s father in De De Pyaar De.

The movie also features Tabu, Rakul Preet, Jaaved Jaaferi and Jimmy Shergill in key roles and will open in theatres on May 17.

Speaking about his marriage with Kajol on the occasion of their 20th anniversary, Ajay said in an interview, “I’ve reached a point when, without even looking at her, I can sense that she’s feeling low. Similarly, she knows in a second if something’s wrong with me. Then we talk it out and comfort each other. That’s how much our relationship has evolved.”

Ajay and Kajol have two children, 15-year-old daughter Nysa and 8-year-old son Yug. Nysa also faces spotlight as a celebrity kid and Ajay had once appealed to the media to let her be.
