This Bollywood Actress Just Opened Up About Her Casting Couch Experience & It’s Making Us Furious!

Time and again, B-town celebs have spoken up about their horrifying casting couch experiences in the industry. Several shocking incidents of artists being promised big breaks in return for sexual favours only proves that Bollywood is a strange place. Earlier, stars like Surveen Chawla, Ayushmann Khurana, and Kishwer Merchant have spoken up about their appalling incidents. And the latest actress to open up about her unpleasant encounter is Esha Gupta.

While talking to a leading daily, the actress recently shared that a director wanted to get close to her during an outdoor shoot of a movie. But, she got out of the complicated situation. Esha said “I am also really smart, I said, ‘I am not going to sleep alone’. I used to make my makeup artist sleep in the room with me. I said ‘Oh I am scared, I won’t sleep’.”

Esha further explained that such things would not happen to a star kid. She said, “They only do it to us, they won’t do it to the industry kids because there, their parents will come and kill you. But to us, they would do thinking ‘she wants work’. So eventually I saw a very dirty side of that person I worked with.” This is making us furious. Nobody should have to deal with such awful instances in their lives. 

The Jannat 2 actress further explained that a lot of people refuse to give her work as they feel she’s ‘not going to do anything, what’s the point?’.
