This Bollywood Actress Doesn’t Own A Single Designer Clothing!

The first thing that comes to mind when we think of living life like a Bollywood celebrity is the opulent lifestyle. Bollywood celebrities live a lifestyle defined by high-end fashion brands, custom-made clothing, and gorgeous accessories. These celebrities routinely work with well-known designers, attend fashion shows, and flaunt their luxurious wardrobes on social media. From red-carpet events to casual outings, their fashion choices frequently become trends and set industry standards. But, more often than not, the expensive stuff they wear is not even theirs!

While a lot of celebrities own designer wear and accessories, most of it is simply given to them by the brand as a promotional gimmick. However, there is one Bollywood actress who is also a star kid, who doesn’t own a single piece of designer clothing in her wardrobe. It is none other than Sara Ali Khan! This is even more astonishing given that Sara is the daughter of a Nawab. She is a princess, but she refuses to wear designer clothing.

In a recent interview, Sara spoke about how the audience is looking forward to superstars who are more honest and approachable, especially when they appear outside of the celluloid. She then stated that she likes to wear her honesty over luxury clothing and that she does not own a single piece of designer wear in her wardrobe.

She said, “Whether it’s going to the airport with freshly washed hair and not doing my hair and makeup unless it’s absolutely necessary, I really am who I am! I wear my honesty with more pride than any designer clothes. In fact, I don’t have a single pair of designer clothing in my wardrobe.” In a previous interview, the actress had also opened up about how she is not brand conscious. She said, “I am not brand conscious at all. I am happy in my salwar kameez from Sarojini Nagar and juttis than in brands that cost more than my monthly income.”

While many trolls are criticising the actress for “trying too hard to be relatable,” Sara is actually not a fan of brands and luxury items. The actress has often been spotted shopping in local markets like Sarojini Nagar in Delhi and Hill Road in Mumbai. She also has excellent bargaining abilities and does not believe in frivolous spending. Well, regardless of whether she wears branded or local, it is Sara Ali Khan‘s girl-next-door personality that makes us all love her!
