This Video Of A Lawyer Calling Ranveer Singh’s Butt A ‘National Issue’ Is The Funniest Thing You’ll Watch Today

Count on Ranveer Singh to make it to the headlines each day! It’s almost been a week, and yet the internet (or the world) has not been able to get over Ranveer’s nude photoshoot for Paper Magazine. While some applauded him for his confidence, some trolled him for his poses. But irrespective of it all, no one could deny the star’s undying confidence and the ability to pull the photoshoot off with finesse. 

While celebs and fans admired the star for being so daunting and bold, certain people just found it all a little too hard to digest. An NGO filed an FIR against the actor claiming that he had “hurt sentiments” and insulted the “modesty of women”. Their complaint claimed, “This act of the accused person created shame in eyes of women at large, and [he is responsible for] publishing and transmitting sexually explicit material.” Well, does it seem like people are just looking for an excuse to get offended? 

Amidst the controversy, a complainant, Vedika Chaubey had some really, erm, interesting things to say. In an interview with NDTV, the reporter asks Ms.Chaubey what makes her so uncomfortable about him being naked. The reporter further asked, “I don’t understand. What is vulgar about it?” To which the complainant replied, “Of course this is vulgar! We can see his bum. His video is with me, he is completely nude in the video. I don’t know how many people will understand that thing.” 

The reporter couldn’t help but burst out laughing at this response and we really don’t blame her. Ms.Chaubey further added, “You may laugh Madam, you may laugh. But this is a common thing. This is a national issue.”

Now, that response has us confused about whether we should laugh out loud or just be really concerned about our society’s priorities. Yes, we agree that Ranveer’s butt is a big deal, like damn! But calling it a national issue? That’s stretching it. An NGO in Indore even went to the extent of donating clothes to the actor.

Here’s hoping this complainant finds something more productive to do and the NGO makes donations to those in actual need.
