If I were to think of Bollywood actresses who’re always uppin’ their makeup game, Aditi Rao Hydari would top my list. Of course, it has a lot to do with her glowing skin: vegetable juice in combination with idlis (home food) and hydra facials. But there’s always a balance that brings out a sense of femininity in Aditi’s makeup.

A poster child for beautiful eyes paired with nude lips, Aditi likes to go va-va-voom once in a while.

She just posted a photo of her berry-stained pout and I loved it! Not only did she sport a fall trend in the peak of summer but she did it really well.

1. Pick The Right Shade Of Lipstick.

This is kinda obvious but essential. Choose a shade that complements your undertone. If you’re not sure of your undertone, a better look at your veins on your wrist (that’s right, I said veins) would be helpful. Read all about undertones here.

2. Start by applying the berry toned lipstick with a lipstick brush. Make sure you don’t apply more than two coats of lipstick at this stage. 

3. To make it look richer, apply a brighter shade in matte finish. 

4. Now use a lighter shade of lip colour to highlight the middle of your lower lip and your Cupid’s bow. 

5. Finish with another coat of berry lipstick with a brush.

6. Use your fingertip to apply a bit of highlighter around the Cupid’s bow. Make sure you blend it in.

7. Seal your lipstick. And you’re done!
