Kiska Hai Ye Tumko Intezaar? Sushmita Sen Announces Comeback To Films

Yes, you read that right, people! After ruling our hearts for decades, one of the most-loved Bollywood superstar, Sushmita Sen, is all set to make a comeback to movies. 

Almost 10 years after she was last seen in No Problem (2010), Sushmita has officially announced that she is returning to films and we couldn’t be happier. The actress shared a post on Instagram to break the news to her fans. The former Miss Universe wrote, “I have always been in awe of love that knows patience!! This alone makes me a fan of my fans!!😊❤️ They have waited 10 long years for my return to the Screen, lovingly encouraging me every step of the way throughout my hiatus…unconditionally!!!👏😍❤️ 🙏 I RETURN JUST FOR YOU!!!!! 😁💃🏻💋 #secondinnings #gratitude #love #faith #patience #showtime 👊😉😄💋❤️💃🏻 I love you guys!!! #duggadugga 🙏”

The 44-year-old actress had earlier hinted at her re-entry with pictures from the make-up room of her upcoming project. In her Instagram post, she had written, “Makeup, hair, lights & that mirror made of antique glass. ROUND TWO…I prep for my return to class!!!#sharing #reflections #emotions #backtobasics #duggadugga I love you guys!!!!”

Earlier, in an interview with a leading daily, Sushmita confessed that she never regretted taking a sabbatical from cinema. She also said that she could not witness her elder daughter Renee grow up and didn’t want to repeat the same mistake with her younger one, Alisah. “I wanted to see her (Alisah) through her formative years. After she turns six, I can look back at working. If my career in films is done by then, so be it. I’ll get into business or I’ll do something else. But this, I cannot miss,” she said. However, earlier this year, in an interview, the Main Hoon Na Actress also hinted at making a comeback through digital platforms and now with this latest post on Instagram, we can see it all coming true.

Well, who wouldn’t want to see the glamorous Sushmita back on the big screen–whether in a character similar to that of the sexy teacher from Main Hoon Na or the extremely hot and kind doctor in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. Can’t wait!
