More Than An Actor: Self-Confessed Tech Geek Sushant Singh Rajput Was Designing An AI Game
We all know him as the actor who started his career in TV and ended up getting success on the silver screen. While Sushant may have been a popular Bollywood actor with a fan following of millions, that certainly wasn’t his only area of interest.
The late actor, who studied engineering, was a self-confessed tech geek. You could see him walking around in slogan T-shirts with coding references. He was so interested in the future of technology and its potential that he has even bought land on Mars!
Now, we’ve recently learnt that the Kai Po Che actor was a big-time gamer, and was even designing his very own game using artificial intelligence. “He was planning to design a game with his business partner. He was extremely intelligent and wanted to come up with a game of his own, using artificial intelligence. In the last few months, he was extremely involved with the whole coding bit and he was a quick learner and had an extremely sharp bent of mind towards science and technology. He had discussed the whole idea with his partner and the game was expected to be ready by design around end of this year,” a friend of Sushant’s told an online publication in a recent interview.
But that wasn’t all. The actor was so passionate about technology that he was also working on a 3D printer that would print objects by scanning. “He was also planning to design a printer that would print objects just by scanning. He had different ideas on his mind and wanted to see them fructify into things,” Sushant’s friend added.
Besides these plans, Sushant was also actively involved in companies working with technology. He had joined the board of a tech start-up called Innsaei Ventures Private Limited in 2018. In December 2018, he took to Facebook to share his thoughts on the future of technology and artificial intelligence.
“Artificial intelligence mixed with mixed reality (virtual and augmented) will Change the entertainment and it’s present industry (with key players/markers) as we know and understand it, and in under 5years. The future is already here, just unevenly distributed. Thinking that exponential technologies will match our linear way of predictive Analytics could be 100 times more catastrophic than the last mistake we made with the coming of sound in the last century,” he wrote.
He didn’t just stop with Innsaei Ventures. The following year, Sushant launched another company, called Vividrage Rhealtyx Pvt Ltd, along with his friends Rhea Chakraborty and Showik Chakraborty. The company was established to create experiences using “exponential technology, mixed reality, artificial intelligence and experiential technology” in India and abroad.
