Are you feeling parched and dehydrated no matter how much water you drink? The hot summer sun not only drains me but even my skin has been feeling hot and sensitive lately. I realised that simply drinking lots of water and following a skincare routine just won’t cut it. But a refreshing summer drink surely will…or say 4 of them.

While searching for some yummy drink ideas to keep me refreshed this summer, I stumbled upon some amazing recipes that have tons of skincare benefits too. Check them out.

Tadgola Cooler

Staying hydrated never felt this delicious. This tadgola fruit juice is now my favourite summer drink. It’s loaded with minerals and antioxidants and has amazing cooling properties

What You Need

How To Make It

  1. Add the diced tadgola, sugar, lemon juice, and ice cubes to a blender and blend.
  2. Put the chia seeds in a tall glass.
  3. Transfer the juice from the blender into the glass. Stir and enjoy.

Watermelon Slushie

Trust me, you’ve never tried a watermelon slushie that is this delicious and nutritious at the same time. This slushie contains Agave syrup which helps calm irritation and moisturise the skin while watermelon is loaded with essential nutrients.

How To Make It

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender.
  2. Pulse and blend the ingredients until the mixture looks thick and chunky.
  3. Serve in tall glasses and garnish with mint leaves.

Cucumber Refresher

You will never believe green juice could taste this delicious. If you’re a health freak but can’t stand the taste of a green smoothie, this cucumber juice infused with pineapple, kale, and mint leaves will change your life.

  3. Strain the juice and discard the chunky residue.

  2. Add the diced lime, mint leaves, and sugar to a glass.
  3. Muddle the ingredients in the glass and add ice cubes.
  4. Pour the mango pulp from the blender into the glass.
  5. Drink and enjoy.
