We’ve all been waiting for Suhana Khan to make her Bollywood debut ever since the starlet revealed her plans to take up acting as her career. Suhana recently graduated from Ardingly college in London and her “exceptional contribution to drama” won her a special award – The Russell Cup – at her convocation.
Well, looks like the wait is finally over. While it’s going to be a while before we see Suhana step into Bollywood, she will soon be seen in a short film titled, The Grey Part Of Blue. Writer and director, Theodore Gimeno, took to Instagram to share the first posters of the movie.
This portrait of Suhana Khan is the first poster of The Grey Part of Blue designed by Oscar Davis. Doesn’t she already look like a star?
Theodore Gimeno shared another poster of the movie, featuring Suhana’s co-star, Robin Gonnella.
The news of this upcoming short film featuring Suhana Khan first hit the internet when Gimeno shared BTS pictures of the cast and crew on his Instagram page. The young director, who is also reportedly Suhana Khan’s classmate, shared a couple of pictures of Suhana and Robin back in December last year. He posted the pictures along with the caption, “Wrapped up the first day of shoot for my new short film. Thank you to everyone who helped, it was a blessing❤️”
While the release date and other details about the movie still continue to be a mystery, we can’t wait to watch the young and talented Suhana Khan dazzle us with her acting skills, which we’re sure she inherited from doting daddy aka King Khan of Bollywood! *wink*
Suhana Khan’s tryst with acting began last year when she played Juliet in a theatrical adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play, Romeo And Juliet. Her performance left Shah Rukh Khan speechless and he took to Instagram to share a picture with her dearest daughter and wrote, “What a wonderful experience and exceptional performances by the whole cast. Congratulations to the whole team.”
Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan also revealed that Suhana worked as an assistant director on his movie Zero, along with director Anand L. Rai: “She came here as a part of learning acting. So she needed to spend time on film sets. She did some of that in London too with Gurinder (Chadha). We were shooting a song for Zero. I wanted her to watch Katrina and Anushka because both of them are such different kind of actors. Katrina has her own charm and Anushka has her own way of enacting. But what they did instead is put her onto me as the assistant director to get me on time from home. She’d say, ‘Papa, the shot is ready’.”
From the looks of it, Suhana Khan is already a star in the making!
