Sobhita Dhulipala is undoubtedly one of the most stunning faces I’ve seen on screen and in person. There’s just something alluring about her and it’s not just her kohl-rimmed eyes and naturally voluminous curly hair.

But that’s not all that’s behind her success. To be successful, you’ve gotta smell like it. As someone who can’t get enough of perfumes, I have always considered celebrity-favourite fragrances as reliable. If they’re good enough for my favourite stars, they’re good enough for me. Sobhita may not be a fragrance junkie, but it seems like she’s getting there! In an interview with Popsugar, the star who is all set to tie the knot in December, revealed that she likes wearing floral notes in the morning and leaves deeper, muskier ones for special occasions and evenings.

Sobhita’s Favourite Perfumes

Her most recent revelation is the Diptyque Paris Oud Palao Eau de parfum—a pick from superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s favourite perfume brand! She told Popsugar she loves the complexity of this scent—the smell of oud, notes of rose, vanilla, and incense. Her favourite part is how feminine she feels once this ages on her skin.

Unfortunately, this can only be purchased in London and only has a retail outlet in Delhi. It retails for $230, which is approximately Rs. 20,000.

Kayali’s Oudgasm is one of the closest dupes for this with base notes of tobacco, patchouli, vanilla and oud, all present in the Diptyque.

In December 2023, she revealed to Grazia that Scandal by Roja Parfums has been her go-to for a while, and quickly followed it up with, “I think it’s time to find a new scent”. It seems like Sobhita has a few scent notes she loves because the base notes of Scandal are loaded with heavier ingredients like patchouli, sandalwood, tobacco and vanilla!

Le Labo’s Noir possibly proves that Sobhita’s made some common notes her own. Noir is a sophisticated pick with tobacco notes, cedar wood, musk, and a touch of fig.

Sobhita’s favourite scents seem almost as deep and raw as the characters she plays! I’m adding her picks to my list of ever-growing celebrity perfumes so I don’t run out.
