Our Bollywood and TV celebs are always surrounded by controversies. It’s probably the biggest price that they pay for all that fame. Recently, there were reports of TV actress Shraddha Arya getting engaged to boyfriend Alam Makkar on the sets of Nach Baliye 9. According to the rumour mill, the exchange of rings happened after Janardhan Pandit, a well-known astrologer predicted that Shraddha and Alam will get married in a span of two years and live happily ever after.
However, dismissing all the rumours about her secret engagement, the Kundali Bhagya actress in an exclusive chat with POPxo shared that the rings were exchanged as a fun activity on the sets.
“It was just a few games that we were playing for fun on the set of Nach Baliye as per their format that day. No engagement or anything has happened. I am shocked and surprised how things have been made to look like and who could even think of turning them this way,” said the actress.
Here’s what actually happened. The astrologer predicted that Shraddha and Alam will get married in two years and the couple will lead a happy life together. Alam will be a successful businessman and Shraddha will continue acting for the next 38 years, even after delivering a child. Soon after, the couple were seen exchanging rings on the set and their fans and the media assumed that they were formally engaged.
Now that Shraddha has cleared the air around her wedding, her fans are a little disappointed. After all, the couple does look absolutely smashing together on-screen. We wish the couple all the very best for their Nach Baliye journey!
