One of the sarees that Diya and Shloka found in their mom’s wardrobe was hundred years old! Diya recently talked about it. She revealed in an Instagram reel that the gold drape belonged to a royal family in Rajasthan and is a part of her mom’s impressive collection that she has been building for a long time. Shloka decided to wear the priceless saree for the opening day of the NMACC launch and looked radiant.

“There was so much chaos as the event was approaching and the clothes were not ready! I decided to raid my mom’s cupboard which worked in our favour! We went for vintage shawls and heritage textiles which had a great story to tell for this particular celebration of India,” Diya wrote while talking about the experience of styling Shloka for the grand event.

That said, Shloka’s gold saree wasn’t the only vintage find that she flaunted at the NMACC launch event. Her look for day two also featured “something old”.

Diya found a vintage shawl in her mom’s cupboard and decided to give it a modern twist. She made Shloka wear it as a draped blouse and styled it with a heavy chikankari lehenga to create the most stunning look!

Impressive, right? Here’s hoping Diya Mehta keeps styling Shloka for all the big events. She did a fab job, after all!
