After three-and-a-half months of contemplation, voting, discussions and a LOT of heated debates, we finally have the winner of Bigg Boss and to nobody’s surprise, it’s television’s favourite bhabhiji Shilpa Shinde who won Bigg Boss Season 11.
Her journey was full of a lot of ups and downs – her foes left no stone unturned to call her out and put her down and at a point of time, her friends left her alone to fend for herself as well. But the woman showed an incredible strength of character in the Bigg Boss house and no matter what happened, she kept at it by performing in tasks and cooking for a houseful of people, regardless of what they said about her. So the win was definitely well-deserved.
Speaking about her win, Shilpa said in an interview “Simplicity will always win. I am very happy that my audience loved me. I have gone through a lot and there was a time when I thought everything was over. I never wanted to do Bigg Boss but they convinced me and today when I have won the show, it feels fulfilling. When I went to the mall, I saw people cheering for me and somehow I could sense that I might win the show. It was just confidence and not overconfidence like everyone claims.”
In another interview, she spoke about her relations in the house and said, “It has been a big journey and a great one. It is still unbelievable. After what I have gone through, this is the perfect answer… I think the way I lived inside that house, the way relationships were made there, I had never imagined such changes in my life.”
But things aren’t so good with her arch-enemy in the house Hina Khan, “While Hina Khan knew everything in the kitchen, I had no clue. However, I did all the work but she never bothered. I had never cooked for 18-19 people earlier.”
What a well-deserved win and a beautiful performance by this gorgeous lady in the house!
