Shilpa Shetty Kundra took her fans by surprise earlier this year by announcing the birth of her darling daughter Samisha. Shilpa and hubby Raj Kundra, who were struggling with pregnancy for a few years, decided to have a baby through surrogacy and their prayers were answered on February 15, 2020.
Ever since the announcement, the new mommy has been sharing a lot of pictures of Samisha, and she made sure to hide her face. But nine months later, we’ve finally got a glimpse of the baby girl. And she is adorable! The paparazzi managed to click her cute face while the mother-daughter duo was out in the city.
While Samisha was dressed in a pink top, grey pants and a matching hairband, Shilpa wore blue denim and a striped shirt. Take a look at the pictures.

Isn’t she a cutie patootie? Samisha recently celebrated her first Bhai Dooj this year with her elder brother, Viaan Raj Kundra. Sharing an adorable video, Shilpa gave us a sneak peek of their celebrations on the ‘Gram.

Talking to Neha Dhupia on her radio chat show, No Filter Neha, Shilpa confessed that she had a few meltdowns when Viaan was young but now, she feels that motherhood is like a cakewalk. “I think yoga has made a big difference to what I used to be 10 years ago. I remember I did have a few meltdowns after Viaan because when you’re this first time mom, it’s very daunting and it just hits you. So it was difficult the first time around but now I feel it’s like a cake walk. #Guts to me, I am 45 and I’ve had another child. I’ll be 50 and my child is 5,” said Shilpa.

Talking about how people judge new mothers, Shilpa said that she wants to bring up her children the way her parents brought her up. “I don’t care to pay too much attention to other people’s opinions and judgments on me because it’s really not their place. I am doing my best as a mother. However, people perceive me to be, I really want to bring my child up the way my parents brought us up. The only difference is obviously we were brought up in a smaller home with a lot lesser in terms of facilities but the same amount of love, if not more,” she added.
