I’ve dedicated my past few weeks to admiring all the celebrity brides! Their outfits were breathtaking and so were the accessories, the hairdos and the makeup looks. 

A few days back, cricketer Shardul Thakur tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Mittali Parulkar in a grand wedding. The newlyweds dropped some pics from a vibrant wedding carnival that they hosted and OMG, they’re goals! They’ll convince you to have a mela-themed function and Mittali’s outfit is surely going to start a new trend.

Mittali’s heavily embellished outfit stole the show for me. She wore a custom-made Papa Don’t Preach By Shubika ivory and pink babydoll dress for the function. Why have I never seen brides wear something like this before?! It was such a fun and cute look and a shift from what we’re used to seeing. Shardul too matched her in a custom-made PDP outfit.

Her stylist, Ekta Shah kept the overall look understated yet vibrant. She also shared how the Papa Don’t Preach team created the stunning outfit in less than 15 days. MUA Shradha Luthra added a pop of colour to her makeup with pink eyeliner and flushed cheeks. And I am absolutely in love with her half-up hairdo.
