Remember Television couple Shakti Arora and Neha Saxena who rose to fame for the very popular show, Tere Liye? Well, the two are finally married now! Their relationship has been under too many speculations ever since they got engaged on June 6, 2014. Despite being engaged for four years they kept us wondering why they aren’t getting married. While there were even rumours floating that the two had already tied the knot, they handled it all in a very matured way.
According to reports, Shakti finally married his long-time girlfriend, Neha on April 6 in a hush-hush ceremony. The couple got frequently asked about why they are not getting married to which they said, “They didn’t want to get married immediately as they wanted to take some time to focus on their careers.” Not just that, the couple also faced tough times when there were reports of their break up. However, they took it all gracefully and made their way through it and waited for the right time to take the plunge.
Shakti took it to his official Instagram and made an official announcement by posting a happy picture of the two of them all decked up as a bride and groom, with a caption – “Together is a wonderful place to be!”.
Now that’s an aww moment for all his fans!
In conversation with a leading daily, Shakti said, “We had the haldi ceremony in the morning and pheras in the evening. It was a private affair with only our immediate families in attendance. Both of us have been relatively free over the past few months and so, decided to take the plunge. It seemed like the perfect time, as I am planning to take up something soon and will become busy.”
On being asked how life has changed post marriage? Shakti shared, “The feeling is yet to sink in and I don’t feel like a married man yet. Abhi tak kuch samajh nahi aa raha, but it’s a nice feeling.”
