Shah Rukh Khan’s Indonesian Fan Went To Crazy Lengths To Meet The Star, Read Her Story!

Shah Rukh Khan has been part of Bollywood for more than three decades now and his journey has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. His charisma, charming personality, and humbleness have not only made him the Badshah of Bollywood but a global icon as well. But to say that SRK enjoys a massive fan following feels like an understatement. So let’s just say his fans are madly in love with him. And they’ll do anything to let him know that. Even if it means travelling thousands of kilometres and camping outside his lavish adobe, Mannat. Yep, that’s right!

Recently, Humans of Bombay took to their Instagram to share an inspiring story of an SRK fan named Mutiara Ulfa Herlita. In the post, they revealed how Mutiara who grew up in Indonesia, came to India with a dream of meeting the superstar. She had been fascinated with him since her childhood and even filled her walls with posters of him. Finally in 2016, after waiting for three years post shifting to Ahmedabad, she packed her bags and left for Mumbai with only Rs. 5000 in her pocket. She waited outside the superstar’s house for three days while holding a placard that read, “Hello SRK! I won’t go back to Indonesia without telling you my story”

And guess what guys? She actually got to meet him. Somehow her picture reached SRK and he invited her to his house. She even told him all about her journey and even got the click pictures with him. She said, “In a week, I went back to Indonesia with a happy heart, & a wide smile on my face, Because, like he said, ‘Kisi cheez ko shiddat se chaho, toh puri kayinaat usse tumse milane ki koshish me lag jati hai.’ That’s exactly what happened with me!”
