I read something new about the Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani wedding every time I refresh my Insta feed. But no complaints ‘coz I’m absolutely loving all the updates. Not sure how much of it is true though. Take, for instance, the latest rumour suggesting that Sid and Kiara are selling their wedding rights to Amazon Prime Video!

I find it slightly hard to believe considering they have been openly sharing their love with the world. In fact, the couple just posted their wedding video on Instagram!

No Entry For Drones!

When Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif tied the knot in December 2021, the internet was buzzing with weird speculations. The silliest one was that any drones found in the vicinity of their shaadi venue would be shot down. Even a fake letter from the Sawai Madhopur administration stating the same started floating on the internet.

On KWK 7, Vicky opened up on the topic and said it was one of the weirdest rumours he heard about his wedding.

NDA, Really?

Another rumour that made me ROFL about the #VicKat wedding was that the stars asked their guests to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Many media houses reported that the couple did this to ensure that no confidential info gets out about their grand Rajasthan wedding. Honestly, I bought it and the realisation only hit me after the couple started posting pictures from their wedding festivities.

OTT Gifts

Rumours started doing rounds soon after Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul’s wedding got confirmed. One such piece of goss was that the newlyweds will receive a host of luxurious gifts. These included a swanky apartment worth Rs 50 crores, a BMW and Audi car, as well as a Chopard watch worth Rs 30 lakhs. However, all of these was rubbished by Suniel Shetty’s spokesperson.

Another Unseen OTT Release

Although Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot in an intimate affair, it felt nothing short of a national festival. One of the things that went viral about their shaadi was that they sold their wedding telecast rights to an OTT platform for Rs 90 crores. The rumours proved false after the guests broke the internet by sharing multiple pics from the #RaLia wedding!

Unreal Ways Of Travel!

Priyanka Chopra’s Jodhpur shaadi with Nick Jonas felt like a fairytale. And the actress didn’t stop herself from going OTT. The hype, of course, led to a bunch of rumours. It was said that attendees were given a barcode in their invitation and that was the only way in. Some even claimed that PC used helicopters to fly from one wing to another in the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jaipur. Hilarious!

Kinda embarrassing that I believed most of them. Yikes!
