#CoupleGoals: Rohit Reddy Throws A Virtual B’day Party For Wifey Anita Hassanandani

Due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases across India, the nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 3 and even though we might feel a little restless, this is the need of the hour. We understand that birthdays, anniversaries and even wedding plans have been sabotaged due to the pandemic, but there are some people who aren’t letting their celebrations suffer and living it up in their own little innovative ways!

Naagin 4 actress Anita Hasssanandani turned a year older today but due to the lockdown, she couldn’t throw a party this year. But that didn’t stop husband Rohit Reddy from making her feel special on her birthday. There’s no denying that Rohit and Anita are an adorable couple and their Instagram feeds are filled with loved up pictures and videos.

As the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress couldn’t go out to celebrate her birthday with her friends, Rohit brought all their friends home…but VIRTUALLY! The doting hubby surprised Anita with a virtual birthday party by getting all their friends on a video call.

Anita’s gang included bestie Ekta Kapoor and popular actors like Karan Patel, Krystle D’Souza, Pearl V Puri and Neena Kulkarni. They all got together on a video conference call and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ as Anita cut the cake.

Earlier, Rohit had posted another video on Instagram in which Anita can be seen waiting for the clock to strike 12 so she could cut her cake!

For the unversed, Rohit, who is a businessman, used to go to the same gym as Anita and didn’t know that she was a popular actress. Well, at least that’s what he says, although Anita doesn’t believe that. Then he saw her outside a bar and approached her. This brief encounter was followed by Facebook messages and chats, after which they met through a common friend again and that’s when Anita was flattered by his cute dimples and great physique. Soon after they started dating, the two realised that they were meant for each other and decided to get married. 

Even though they hail from different backgrounds, Anita being a Sindhi and Rohit a Telugu boy, their families agreed for their union almost instantly! They got married in an extravagant wedding ceremony in Goa in 2013 and have been one of the most popular TV jodis ever since.

We wish this couple loads of love and a super-duper birthday to Anita!
