Rhea Kapoor & Karan Boolani’s Charming Home Is A Work Of Art & We Can’t Stop Staring At These Pictures

If there’s one celeb whose Instagram we cannot get enough of, it’s Rhea Kapoor. Whether it’s glam OOTDs or pictures of fabulously done up living spaces, her posts are a treat to look at!

Speaking of spaces, Rhea often gave us a sneak-peek of the iconic bungalow she lived in before she married Karan Boolani. It was every bit beautiful, and we were certain her new home would be equally special. We’ve been eagerly waiting for the celebrity stylist to give us a glimpse of her home and guess what? She just did! Rhea finally took to the ‘gram to share pictures of her new home in Bandra, Mumbai, and we’re in love with the charming and cozy space. 

While talking about her house with a leading daily, Rhea explained, “I want my home to be a sanctuary, a place of fun, comfort and security. The rented apartment, split over two floors, is in an old bungalow, now converted into a building.” 

The celebrity stylist revealed that she was clear about what vibe she wanted her three-bedroom apartment to reflect, and worked on the interiors with her friend, Ravi Vazirani. “I’m not ultra-feminine. I don’t like chintz and florals. So we kept the ombrés soft but graphic. We chose a neutral palette to make the house younger and fresher, and wooded the marble floors.” She added that they changed the mouldings from gold to white to add an old-school softness and the result is a home designed in the mid-century modern-style. And the best part is that Reha and Karan did not go overboard with the budget. “I didn’t want an ostentatious house, so we have a mix of high and low, and kept everything under budget. The only thing I spend on is contemporary art,” revealed Rhea. Sounds a sensible move to us
