If scrolling through Instagram was a full-time job, I’d win employee of the month. Seriously though, Insta reels are addictive and I love watching makeup tutorials, get ready with me videos, travel footage- you name it and I’ve seen it. But personally, makeup will always be paramount- swatch shots and challenges are so fun to binge-watch.
So, today we’re doing a little throwback with the MyGlammXO Beauty Creator fam and checking out the retro makeup looks that they’ve created. Trust us, next time you’re heading out, you’re going to want to rock some 60s glam too!
Retro Makeup Looks Featuring The MyGlammXO Beauty Creator Fam
All About The Polka Dots
Our MyGlammXO Beauty Creator, Agriti looks so cute in this retro-inspired makeup look. She used a nude eyeshadow base for her eye makeup and focussed on the dramatic wing. She applied her base, filled in her brows, and added a flush of colour to the cheeks. Finally, she finished off the look with a terracotta lip crayon and it looked hella fabulous!
Blast From The Past
Okay, can we take a moment and appreciate the effort that must have gone into doing her hair? Kudos, Arkangee! As for the makeup, she chose to do a maroon cut crease and paired it with a lipstick of the same shade. To finish off the look, she put on a bindi to match her saree and that made all the difference.

Ready For The Gatsby Party
Doesn’t Puja look like she’s just time traveled from the 1920s? Well, her makeup is all focused on the eyes and after doing a white base, she added silver shimmer to it. She lined her upper lash line with eyeliner and even defined her crease with the same liner- gorgeous and fun, right? She added a pop of highlighter and went in for coral glossy lips. Theme party ready!
Think Pink
Summer is all about colour and this pink makeup look is perfect. Beauty influencer, Moumi Sarkar paired her lipstick with her eyeliner and it looked really cute. If you don’t have a coloured eyeliner, you could always take a think liner brush and use your liquid lipstick on your eyes, just like she did.
Just Wing It
That double-winged liner has our heart! She started off with her base, applying a primer and foundation to her skin, and then went on to add sparkly eyeshadow all over her lid. She even made the crease a bit deeper by adding blacks and greys to it for a smoked-out effect. Finally, she applied black liner and coral lipstick, and wow, doesn’t she look like a retro diva?
So, if you want to rock a throwback vibe, you know whom to take inspo from!
