Our Instagram feed felt hella festive last night as the B-town celebrities served one stunning Karwa Chauth look after the other. From bright reds to fun co-ords, they gave us some bookmark-worthy outfits. Our favourite one from the lot? Sonam Kapoor’s handloom lehenga choli set. It simply ate every other Karwa Chauth look!
Earlier today, Sonam posted a carousel with stunning pictures of her KC ensemble along with an interesting caption. She wrote, “My Husband isn’t a fan of Karava Chauth as he thinks fasting should only be intermittent 😂 so I’ve never kept it!
But both of us are big believers that festivals and traditions are a great reason for family and friends to come together. I love that my mom loves celebrating it and I love being a part of it and dressing up. @kapoor.sunita you always throw the best dos! Sonam Kapoor’s Regal Karwa Chauth Looks
Sonam Kapoor looked like a maharani on Karwa Chauth. She opted for a Banarasi lehenga by Gaurang Shah. The outfit had our attention with the tasteful contrast of cherry red and green. The regal hues were further accentuated with intricate zari and we love how Sonam ditched the basic blouse for a long kurti.
She styled the lehenga set with a kundan necklace and matching studs by Sunita Kapoor. Sonam kept it minimal in the makeup department and finished it off with soft curls.
Doesn’t she look like a vision? Let’s all please agree that motherhood suits Sonam. Can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next.
