Hey there little fighter, tomorrow will be brighter! If things haven’t been going your way recently, don’t lose heart and stop feeling hopeless about life. Know that it happens to everyone, and read what we have to say. For now, smile please?
1. It’s not a bad life, just a bad day
Sometimes things just seem much worse than they really are. You are allowed to have bad days. Everyone does. Think of your most revered celebrity – haven’t they ever been in the media for something totally awful? If they could get through it, so can you!
2. Believe in destiny
While we try to control every single aspect of our lives, there’s a larger picture we are totally unaware of. Most things that don’t come our way are actually things that would have never been good for us in the long run (Even if you can’t see it just yet). So let destiny take its own course and have a little faith while you’re at it.

3. The tough moments make us who we are
While we crave happiness and light heartedness all through the year, understand that difficult times are important too. It’s in these hard times that our personality is truly getting shaped. It’s the bleak moments that reveal our true nature and make us who we are.
4. The importance of coping mechanisms
We know you’ve heard your parents say this, and now you’re going to hear it from us. Life may seem hard right now, but there will be even harder times ahead. We know it’s not a comforting thought, but it’s 100% true. So wouldn’t you rather learn early in life how to cope with difficulties, how to not lose your sense of self, how to remain calm in the face of adversity? It’s the true mark of being a well rounded adult and also part of a natural learning process.
5. Say no to drama
If there’s too much drama in your life, just learn to step away from it. Just know that in the end it’s totally your choice. You can indulge in it or opt out. Don’t lose control of your life. Be the captain of the ship and steer it in the direction you want. The ball is still in your court!
6. Think of your autobiography
What an awesome spin on things this is… One day the world is going to hear your story. It’ll only be interesting if it has enough ups and downs. If everything was simple and bland – well it wouldn’t sell a million copies now, would it?
7. Worrying will get you nowhere
No one has ever been declared a Nobel Laureate for worrying, nor did anyone get famous by it. Know what we mean? Stop worrying! It’ll lead you nowhere. Act like the Girl Boss you are, and embrace all the things life is throwing at you with dignity and class!
8. Motivational quotes must be trusted
We spend hours and hours on the internet. Yet, we don’t give it half as much credit as we should for familiarizing us with some beautiful quotes. Recently we read one that put a lot of things into perspective. ‘In the end, only three things matter: how deeply you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.’ – Buddha. Isn’t that so beautiful? If you don’t want to listen to us, at least listen to Buddha. He can’t be wrong, na?

9. It’s not how real life works!
Things don’t go as planned – this is not a movie! These days, even movies have interesting and layered plots. Why do you expect things to go just the way they played out in your head? The entire romanticism of life lies in plot twists and happenstance. In the song of life – if the beat is suddenly a little different, twerk instead of tango. Okay? Okay! We promise happier days are just around the corner!
10. Plot Twist!
Someone wise once said that if something goes wrong in your life, just yell ‘PLOT TWIST’ and move on. We think this is a hilarious and entertaining take on the whole situation. Imagine if you actually yelled that in public and startled everyone around you… Keep your sense of humour and allow life to make you laugh, even if it’s at yourself from time to time!
