Uorfi Javed Reveals The Real Reason Behind Wearing Bold Clothes

No doubt Urofi Javed has single handly disrupted the fashion industry in India. She declines to go by the books and wears whatever she desires. Her eccentric and risque sense of style often ruffles feathers but she refuses to be anyone but herself! The diva can create headlines not just with her revealing clothing but even when she’s dressed up modestly. But one thing about Uorfi that impresses us the most is how she takes in all the criticism and doesn’t shy away from giving it back to the trolls. But the question remains, what is the real reason behind her bold dressing? 

Looks like we’ve finally got the answer! In a recent interview with a leading portal, Uorfi opened up about her unique style. She shared how she has achieved fame but still craves attention. She said, “I have achieved popularity? Yes. Fame? Yes. Work? No. People don’t respect me. People don’t want to work with me.” She further added, “I scream attention. I want attention so I dress like that.”

Further, when asked how she deals with criticism and trolling, Uorfi said, “I am human so I get upset. But then me being upset lasts for like 5-10 minutes and then I just tell myself that they are just probably very ugly, you are just too pretty.” She also shared that if a brand ever asks her to change her style and dress more conservatively for a contract she’ll tell them to go to someone else. She said, “If you don’t want Uorfi Javed then why are you coming to Uorfi Javed.”

Uorfi’s bold sense of style might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but beyond that, one can truly appreciate her creativity and how she’s always true to herself.
