The entire three minutes and twenty-one seconds of the trailer seem to be an insane ride! I am digging Ranveer and Alia’s love-hate relationship with the parivarik twist.
Alia and Ranveer’s dramatic relationship in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is every bit filmy. Here’s why I think so:
The Car Crash
Can anything be more filmy than bumping into your love interest out of nowhere? In the opening scene of the RARKPK trailer, Rocky and Rani crash their cars into each other and you can feel the intensity of their love and pain in their conversation.
Family Comes First
In the KJo multiverse, parents come first and RARKPK is no different. While Rocky and Rani are madly in love, they don’t want to get married without their parent’s approval. The two swap their positions in their homes to win over everyone. Now this was the crazy twist no one saw coming!
‘What Jhumka?’
Karan Johar has the perfect surprise for all the fans in the form of a Jhumka song in RARKPK. I managed to catch a quick glimpse of the song and it looks like a total Bollywood-y dance number. Rocky and Rani look ready for this filmy chartbuster.
The Moodboard Is Drama
Karan Johar’s love for drama is hella obvious in RARKPK. In the trailer, Rocky and Rani are being pulled into different directions but their drama and flare remain untouched. The film has so many OTT dramatic sequences that are already living in my head rent-free.
