Ranbir Kapoor Gets Real About Being Called A ‘Cheater’ & ‘Casanova’ & We Admire His Honesty

Who can ever forget the infamous Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer-Koffee With Karan episode that forever changed the way the world looked at Ranbir Kapoor? Not only did the two actresses call RK a bad boyfriend, but DP also implied that the actor had cheated on her. 

Over the years, social media platforms have been buzzing with the allegations that Ranbir was a ‘cheater’ and a ‘player’. While the actor is now happily married to Alia Bhatt, his amusing dating history remains a point of discussion on social media.

Recently, Ranbir opened up on how no one cared to hear his side of the story and labelled him as a ‘cheater’ and ‘casanova’ without any proof. The Rockstar actor shared, “I am an actor; people can say anything about me. They can say something good, they can say something bad. But what matters to me is whether or not they like my movies. So, my focus, my hard work, my energies are only towards making a good film and it really doesn’t bother me if somebody b*****s about me, if anyone says anything bad about me. It doesn’t boil my blood.”

 “It [the negativity] reaches me, and I take it with a pinch of salt. It’s fine. There’s so much spoken to me. I became the poster boy of a Casanova and a cheater. People have heard somebody’s perspective, somebody’s point of view, and they haven’t heard mine. And I don’t think they’ll ever hear it. It’s fine. I am here to be an actor and that’s all I want to do, ” Ranbir added.

NGL, we are impressed by how secure Ranbir is as an actor and performer. It is a well-known fact that fame is a double-edged sword and only a handful of people know how to stay calm in the face of social media trolling and nasty gossip.
